Location: Leeds, Yorkshire\nSalary: Up to £46,000 Salary + Plus Door to Door+ Van Fuel and Fuel Card + On Call and OT\n\nAbout the Role:\n\n Mainstay Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas & Mechanical Engineer to join our clients team in the Leeds, Yorkshire area.\n\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out routine planned maintenance, repairs, and emergency call-outs for Gas & Plumbing, always maintaining a high standard of service.\nStrive for a first-time fix wherever possible and ensure all jobs are completed efficiently.\nCommunicate effectively with planners to keep projects on track, ensuring timely completion and re-booking if necessary.\nMaintain cleanliness on site, ensuring plant rooms and work areas are always tidy.\nBuild strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, offering your expertise and advice.\nRecord and update data accurately on JobLogic, ensuring compliance paperwork is filled out correctly.\nObtain material quotes from suppliers and provide them to the quoting team within 72 hours.\nParticipate in the out-of-hours call-out rota, providing support to customers during reactive call-outs.\nAdhere to all Health & Safety requirements, including risk assessments and COSHH records.\nPerform other duties as required by the business.Customer Relationship Management:\n\nProvide friendly, professional, and courteous service to all customers.\nEnsure that all work is completed to a high, compliant, and competent engineering standard.\nUphold the company’s values and culture in every interaction.Health & Safety:\n\nAdhere to all health and safety regulations, including risk assessments, safe systems, and COSHH records during daily operations. \n Qualifications & Experience:\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience as a Gas & Plumbing Engineer.\nGas Safe Registered.\nRelevant certifications: COCN, MET1, CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW.\nIPAF/PASMA card or willingness to work at heights.\nStrong fault-finding and service work experience.\nIT literate – competent with Microsoft Office (Basic to Intermediate level).\nFull UK Driving Licence.Personal Attributes:\n\nSelf-motivated and adaptable with a positive attitude.\nTeam player with a strong commitment to safety and quality.\nAbility to build strong relationships and take pride in your work
