Commercial Gas Engineer\n\nWe are seeking a skilled and experienced \n Commercial Gas Engineer\n\non behalf of a successful Facilities management business covering Birmingham. You will be working on a range of contracts, including healthcare, retail, and supermarkets delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance, installations, and servicing of gas and oil heating systems, ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.\n\nLocation: Birmingham \nSalary: £40k - £45k \nHours: Full-time\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPerform planned and reactive maintenance according to PPM schedules.\n\nCarry out domestic and commercial gas installations, commissioning, fault finding, and servicing.\n\nSupport the team by acting as a second-man when required.\n\nProvide accurate timesheets and assist with quotations for additional works.\n\nAttend client premises promptly to meet SLAs and maintain strong client relationships.\n\nComplete technical reports and escalate major issues appropriately.\n\nUndertake basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed.\n\nParticipate in a 24-hour call-out rota.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience:\n\nExperience in the FM industry\n\nGas Safe qualified in CPA1, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, and COMCAT1-5.\n\nOil Fired Heater (OFTEC) certification and LPG certification.\n\nKnowledge of Building Regulations and Building Environmental Services (HVAC).\n\nDesirable Qualifications:\n\nCSCS card.\n\nIPAF & PASMA certifications.\n\nFGas Cat4 certification.\n\nPart P Electrical certificate.\n\nApply Now!\nThis is an excellent opportunity to work within a diverse and rewarding environment, delivering essential services to key facilities.
