Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop comprehensive project proposals.
• Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
• Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Assist in the negotiation of contracts and change orders.
• Track and report on project costs and progress.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC estimating, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
