Commercial HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings.

• They will need to know how to repair and service commercial refrigeration
• We work mostly in restaurants
• We are NOT a residential company
• This is a Service position NOT Install 

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals
• Perform regular maintenance on heating and cooling systems
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and repair or replace defective parts
• Install new HVAC systems following building codes and manufacturer specifications
• Conduct inspections to ensure systems are functioning efficiently
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner
• Work with various tools including ohmmeters, refrigeration gauges, and welding equipment

Requirements

• The candidate needs to have at least 3 years of Commercial HVAC experience
• Knowledge of boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and property maintenance
• Ability to work independently in the field or as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team members
• Ability to build, weld, and maintain HVAC systems
• Capable of troubleshooting/repairing walk-in coolers, freezers, reach-ins, and ice machines

The bigger the gap on your equipment being cleaned, the more grease and grim builds up and causes more problems. It is better for the equipment to be cleaned monthly. It increases the life of the equipment and cuts back on service.
