Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified, motivated individual to join the John A Barclay Agency Inc in Austin TX as a Property & Casualty Commercial Lines Account Manager. As part of our team, you will help service and grow a book of business that includes a variety of accounts. This is a relationship-focused position. While the ability to understand insurance is critical, an ideal candidate will be able to develop and grow relationships with clients, carriers and colleagues. Duties and Responsibilities

• Help clients understand and determine their individual commercial line service needs
• Respond to client requests, manage policy renewals, endorsements, issue insurance certificates, assist with audits
• Ensure maximum client retention through relationship building
• Quote new business
• Thoroughly document all work and communication

Requirements and Qualifications

• Three years’ experience as a Property and Casualty Commercial Lines Account Manager
• Valid Texas Property and Casualty License
• Experience using Applied TAM or similar
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
