Position Overview:
As a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing comprehensive support to our clients. This position involves handling phone calls, managing policy changes, issuing certificates of insurance, and reviewing coverage details. You will also assist with renewing existing policies and rating/selling new policies to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Communication: Handle incoming phone calls from clients, addressing inquiries, and providing assistance with their insurance needs.
• Policy Management: Make changes to existing policies as requested by clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agency standards.
• Certificate Issuance: Issue certificates of insurance in a timely manner, responding to client needs and maintaining accurate records.
• Coverage Review: Review policy coverage with clients, explaining terms and conditions to ensure they understand their insurance protection.
• Policy Renewal: Manage the renewal process for existing policies, working closely with clients to ensure continued coverage.
• Sales Support: Rate and sell new policies to existing clients, identifying their needs and recommending appropriate coverage solutions.
• Training: Participate in initial training on the Newton Agency Management System to ensure proficiency in agency operations.
• Remote Work Flexibility: After training, work from home up to three days per week, maintaining productivity and communication with the team.

Qualifications:

• Valid Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Previous experience in a customer service role within the insurance industry, specifically in commercial lines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in using agency management systems; experience with Newton Agency System is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to review policies and provide accurate information to clients.
