Commercial Pro AV Technician - Field Manager

We are seeking Pro AV Managers and AV Engineers to join our dynamic team! These positions are freelance/contract roles.

Both of these positions require a minimum of 5 years experience in AV installation and/or project management in a commercial setting.

We are seeking candidates for one of the following positions:

Mega Elite AV Field Managers

If you're among the top 10% of AV Technicians nationwide, a master of onsite coordination, adept at managing both small and large teams, and capable of serving as a key client liaison, we want you on our team. You bring innovative problem-solving skills, technical excellence, and exceptional project oversight, ensuring seamless commissioning and flawless execution.

Mega Elite Turnkey AV Engineers

Skilled in onsite coordination for small to medium projects, these engineers possess technical excellence and are adept at managing smaller teams, ensuring projects are executed smoothly and efficiently.

Some of the Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment, including projectors, displays, speakers, and control systems.
• Highly proficient at terminating CAT 6 cable
• Perform site surveys to assess project requirements and plan installations.
• Work with clients to understand their audio-visual needs and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to confirm AV system functionality.
• Provide training and support to end-users on operating AV systems.
• Maintain documentation of installations, configurations, and repairs.
• Coordinate with team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Commercial AV installation.
• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in electronics or AV technology is a plus.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting AV equipment (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX systems).
  • Knowledge of signal flow, audio-visual cabling, and basic networking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and perform physical labor associated with installations.

Qualifications:

• Certification from organizations like AVIXA (CTS, CTS-I) or other relevant credentials.
• Experience with control system programming and networking.
