Position: Commercial Construction - Project Engineer - GC
Location: Denver Metro Area
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt | Immediate Hire
Experience Required: 1-2+ years
Clearance Requirement: Must pass background check for security clearance and able to obtain DEN security badge.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with PMs and Superintendents to keep projects on track, on budget, and up to spec.
• Lead coordination of submittals, RFIs, and procurement tracking.
• Support weekly scheduling and subcontractor oversight.
• Walk job sites to ensure safety, quality, and cleanliness.
• Track project documentation and generate daily reports.
• Coordinate punch lists, as-built drawings, and closeout packages.
• Assist in QA/QC, safety planning, and material logistics.
• Be a problem-solver and communicator across trade teams, owners, and design partners.

You Bring:

• Proven experience with a General Contractor specializing in commercial construction.
• Bachelors Degree and advanced certifications
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Project required; Procore, BIM 360, or P6a plus).
• Ability to read architectural drawings and interpret technical specs.
• Experience with field coordination, layout, and subcontractor management.
• Confidence navigating submittals, schedules, and safety plans.
• Professional, organized, and ready to learn fast.

Bonus If You Have:

• Government or federal construction experience.
• Experience managing vendor performance.
• Familiarity with report writing and project documentation.
