Commissioning Engineer
Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country. This is a long term contract position and is located in Marlborough, MA.Summary The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the optimization of an existing manufacturing process. An overview of responsibilities is as follows: Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency and safety Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators Analyze problem process constraints and conduct equipment cycle time analysis Provide process automation solutions for labor intensive processes Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards Work with site engineering to implement process safety and process improvement solutions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Knowledge of process manufacturing and typical industrial engineering practices, systems, and tools Ability to manage work and undertake multiple tasks simultaneously Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, and perform well under pressure Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country.
