This position offers the opportunity to work with specialist equipment within the CHP / Sustainable Energy sector. You will be heavily invested in, with training, firsthand experience and a clear scope to progress technically.



As an integral member of the Commissioning team, you will work in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams to commission Gas and Diesel plant to client requirements. The role requires the flexibility to stay away from home during the week, but you will be compensated with door to door overtime, whilst the team always does their best to get you back for the weekend.



This role will suit a Service Engineer who has worked with CHP, looking for a varied role, with plenty of overtime, on-going development, an attractive benefits package and the opportunity to progress technically.



DUTIES

* Lead commissioning activities for Gas and Diesel powered CHP plants

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency

* Implement cost reduction strategies and process improvements

* Field based, covering a UK patch and with stay aways Monday - Friday



PERSON

* Time-served apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification

* Demonstrated experience with CHP systems or similar

* Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

* Problem-solving capabilities and analytical mindset
