Commissioning Engineer – Renewable Energy

Functieomschrijving Lead the commissioning of renewable energy systems, including performing initial tests, calibration, and system validation Oversee the installation and start-up processes for solar farms, wind turbines, or energy storage systems Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of renewable energy technologies Conduct safety inspections, performance tests, and troubleshooting to ensure all systems meet regulatory and operational standards Document commissioning processes, test results, and system performance Provide technical support and training to clients and operators during the handover of energy systems Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations throughout the commissioning phase Travel frequently to project sites for the commissioning, testing, and validation processes Functie-eisen Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or related field) At least 3 years of experience in commissioning renewable energy systems such as wind farms, solar plants, or battery storage systems In-depth understanding of electrical systems, testing procedures, and troubleshooting Proven experience in working on complex, large-scale renewable energy projects Ability to work on-site and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus) Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally for project commissioning and testing Arbeidsvoorwaarden Competitive salary ranging from €4,000 to €5,500 gross per month, based on your experience Permanent contracts with direct employment options at our clients’ companies Comprehensive relocation package for international candidates, including full documentation support and assistance with the 30% ruling The chance to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hydrogen) Opportunities for personal development and career growth within the fast-evolving renewable energy sector Flexible working conditions and international travel opportunities to various project sites A supportive and dynamic work environment with a focus on sustainability and innovation
