CompEx Electrician (ATEX/DSEAR) – Hazardous Area Specialist\n\nLocation: Manchester\n Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 + Benefits\n\nNEOS are working with a well respected Engineering company in the North West who are looking for a  CompEx Electrician to join their specialist team delivering electrical installations and maintenance in hazardous areas. This role primarily focuses on projects within the water industry, with additional work in the energy and manufacturing sectors.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out electrical installations and maintenance in ATEX environments\nEnsure all work complies with BS7671: 18th Edition & BS60079\nMaintain a high standard of safety and compliance in hazardous areas\nWork collaboratively within a team of industry specialists\n\nRequirements:\n\nEssential:\n\nCompEx Ex01 – Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)\nNVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation)\n18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations\nCity & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing)\nIndustrial experience\nValid UK driving license\nDesirable:\n\nCompEx Ex05 – Ex06 (Dust)\nPASMA, IPAF, IOSH, CCNSG certifications\n\nBenefits:\n\nCompany van and fuel card\n25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays\nPension scheme and life assurance\nEmployee benefits program, including discounts and cycle-to-work scheme\nCareer development and training opportunities\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CompEx Electrician looking for a stable role with a well-established company.
