We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Defense Attorney to join our client’s first-class firm. If you have a strong litigation background, can handle complex personal injury defense cases, and thrive in an environment that give you the autonomy to do what you do best, then this is THE opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a broad portfolio of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and fall incidents, wrongful death claims, and other negligence-related lawsuits.
• Strategically craft compelling arguments through in-depth legal research and analysis.
• Draft and file crucial legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and other filings, while ensuring timely submissions.
• Take the lead in preparing witnesses, conducting depositions, and coordinating discovery processes to build a strong case.
• Negotiate favorable settlements for the insurance companies and opposing counsel to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Provide clear communication to the client. 
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in personal injury law through continued legal education and relevant seminars.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, and in good standing with the TX Bar.
• 4+ years of experience in Insurance Defense litigation 
• A strong history of handling and litigating personal injury cases from start to resolution.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to efficiently handle multiple cases while collaborating in a team-driven environment.
