Consumer Credit FinTech

Location: Remote (UK) but monthly visits to Manchester

Salary: £50k - £60k + benefits

That's what's on offer here. You'll be given full autonomy to execute the Compliance Monitoring Plan, from scoping and testing through to reporting and action management.

And you’ll get to work from home, with trips into Manchester once or twice a month and quarterly visits to their operational HQ in Bristol (easily accessed by public transport and fully expensed).

Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you’ll take ownership of the Compliance Monitoring Plan, for its ongoing development and its execution. You’ll ensure the business is delivering appropriate advice and is meeting all regulatory requirements.

You’ll work with the business to ensure all regulatory, operational and conduct risks are identified, assessed and managed appropriately, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place and monitoring them accordingly.

This broad role will also see you performing horizon scanning, drafting and implementing policies, approving financial promotions and producing compliance bulletins.

You’ll have gained strong Compliance Monitoring experience in a FinTech or Consumer Credit environment and be comfortable working closely with technical IT teams (developers, UX designers etc.). A good working knowledge of Consumer Duty is required and any experience of CONC regulations would be advantageous.

You'll be very familiar with scoping, testing, reporting and action management with respect to the the Compliance Monitoring Plan and possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
