We in the "Sustainability, Group Environmental Protection & Energy Management" department want to actively shape this change at Mercedes-Benz and be part of the solution. We are responsible for the Mercedes-Benz Group's environmental and energy policy and help shape the sustainable business strategy in terms of the environmental impact of products and processesIn our teams, we develop essential parts of the environmental sustainability of our current and future business activities, for example, we prepare holistic life cycle assessments such as life cycle analyses of our vehicles. As part of our work on model series and module groups, we are driving forward the development of more sustainable vehicles and striving to continuously reduce our use of primary raw materials in resource management. We oversee environmental and energy-related management systems, define specifications for product and production-related environmental protection, and create and support risk prevention at our plant locations through due diligence processes. We are responsible for radiation protection and hazardous substance management and coordinate environmental ratings as well as all internal and external environmental reporting.The internship takes place in the Environmental Reporting and Monitoring team and includes the following tasks: Contributing to the processing of relevant environmental ratings and rankings such as CDP and MSCI, regulatory requirements and reporting obligations such as EU Taxonomy and CSRD and Green Finance topics Conducting research and analyses, preparing presentations and workshops in the field of climate protection and environmental protection Creating texts for internal and external sustainability communication Design and further development of the intranet presence QualifikationenDegree in natural sciences, engineering with an environmental focus or similarBusiness fluent in written and spoken German and EnglishConfident handling of the usual MS Office applicationsCreativity and ability to work in a teamAnalytical way of thinking, quick comprehension and conceptual skillsCommitment and reliability as well as an independent way of workingGeneral interest in the automotive/automotive industry/mobility field is an advantage Additional information:Please note that your internship at this location must include a prescribed mandatory component.
