Construction Accountant

Our construction related client is growing and looking to add an Accountant. This is Onsite in Ft Lauderdale.

Duties:

• Review and process project related contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders and other various agreements.
• Review and process general job cost invoices and subcontractor billings accurately and timely.
• Reconcile inventories, and materials analysis as directed.
• Ensure all project costs are processed.
• Perform closeout functions including reconciliations, financial status reports, final invoices, and final reporting.
• Ensure proper payments to all subcontractors and major suppliers.
• Assist with other areas of accounting to ensure a timely month-end closing.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting.
• Working knowledge of construction Accounting and related financial procedures.
