Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our multifamily construction team. This role supports the Project Manager in overseeing construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of multifamily construction projects, including schedules, budgets, and subcontractor management.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the project team, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and timely communication.
- Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily logs.
- Scheduling: Monitor project schedules and track progress to identify potential delays and recommend solutions.
- Quality Control: Assist in on-site inspections to ensure construction meets quality standards and adheres to plans and specifications.
- Budget Management: Support the review of budgets, cost reports, and invoices to maintain financial accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permitting requirements, and contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field ().
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in multifamily or residential projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
