Director of Business Development
As a Construction Business Development Manager of New Business Development, you will bring expertise and passion for acquiring new
clients and have proven success in cold calling, sales pitches, creating presentation material, strategic planning and general business development. You are a sales hunter who can tell a compelling story to senior leaders, using your influence and skills at relationship building. You’ll identify and drive growth opportunities, fostering innovation that delivers on our clients’ business goals.

Requirements
- Accomplished business leader who can initiate and drive new opportunities
- Demonstrated experience acquiring and growing new business at all levels of enterprise organizations; must be comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders
- Display strong closing techniques throughout the sales cycle
- 3-5+ years of business development experience with demonstrated success in a B2B direct sales environment
- Expertise in prospecting, cold calling and qualifying leads
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all audiences
- Cultural Fit – startup experience, self-starter, passionate, high energy, team player
- Results oriented leader with a proven track record

- Well organized and manages time efficiently
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate creativity and effectiveness in addressing strategic challenges. Understands the drivers of effective negotiation and access solutions
- Able to translate broad business strategies and functional priorities into effective operational goals and objectives; able to actively participate in strategic planning
- Able to devise a long-term vision, based on a thorough understanding of industry trends and customer priorities.
- Responsible for $2M quota
- Research new client prospects and their competitors thoroughly
- Develop market business plan to achieve business goals
- Manage pipeline; responsible for weekly/monthly reporting
