Construction Estimator Project Manager

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for the preparation and development of cost estimates. Knowledge of construction means and methods of costs and engineering principles is necessary. We need someone who can read plans and put together estimates for joint sealants, masonry bids, restoration as well as new construction.

Duties:

- Review project plans, requirements & specifications

- Produce cost effective bids in a timely fashion and within the specific deadlines

- This will include but not be limited to project take-offs and website plan reviews

- Ability to work with computerized takeoff and pricing software a plus, such as EPlan, Dodge, etc.

- Input takeoffs into computer spreadsheets or computer generated programs

- Compare/analyze competitive contractor and supplier pricing

- Inform team of any observed inaccuracies or improvements

- Development of resources, rates, schedules as needed to produce efficiency within department

Requirements:

- Experience in Construction Estimating

- Demonstrate strong communication skills & organization

- Ability to multitask, estimate & manage multiple projects at the same time keeping up with each

- A solid attention to detail, proficient with computers, experience with E-takeoff or Procontractor a plus.

- Ability to work independently but also as a member of the team
