Construction Estimator (Railway Track)

Our client is involved in major capital and infrastructure projects across Canada and has been tremendously growing their team within the last few years.As they foresee continuous growth potential and moving on to another phase of the project, they are seeking to fill a Construction Estimator role who would take part in continuously developing their group into a more competitive and collaborative team of experts in their own chosen field. CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR (RAILWAY TRACK) - Toronto based opportunity and client is open to relocate the right candidate.Requirements:-Holds a university degree or technical college diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Holds a degree from a university or technical college in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Has over 8 years of hands-on experience estimating large-scale and complex projects, with expertise across various areas (civil, structures, track, stations). Requires experience specifically related to railway track. Proficient in analyzing intricate construction drawings and blueprints. Possesses a deep understanding of construction methods, contracts, and cost control techniques. Demonstrates advanced proficiency in standard Microsoft software (Excel, Word, etc.), along with additional experience in Adobe, Visio, and Bluebeam. Exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships. Communicates effectively and pays meticulous attention to detail. Proven leadership abilities, inspiring teams to achieve outstanding results. Excellent time management and organizational skills, ensuring efficiency in time-sensitive situations.
