Midwestern Electric, LLC.'s location in Indianapolis is looking to add Laborers to our team.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently, self-starter, yet able to participate within a team environment,
• Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively,
• Positive, courteous, and helpful approach,
• Motivated and eager to learn new skills,
• CDL A license is a plus

Laborer Responsibilities:

• Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up,
• Operating equipment like drills and shovels,
• Assisting with various installation procedures,
• Obeying health and safety codes, as well as the company's principles,
• Spreading gravel, asphalt, and other materials over surfaces,
• Performing site and equipment inspections,
• Attending meetings and workshops,
• Completing on-the-job training,
• Ensuring tasks are completed to deadlines,
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or similar.
• Completed apprenticeships recommended.
• CDL license recommended.
• Sound knowledge of construction and practical experience with tools.
• Must be punctual and reliable; good attendance required
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Great communication, both verbal and listening
• Demonstrated knowledge of Mechanical and Carpentry skills.
• A good understanding of safety procedures.
• Great hand, eye, and foot coordination.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible.
• Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills.
• Works well with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
