The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' litigation experience in the areas of construction litigation representing owners, general contractors, supplier and/or sureties in contract disputes, delay claims, scope of work disputes and mechanic’s liens. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, outstanding writing, oral advocacy, and research skills. The ideal candidate has some deposition and trial experience, is self-motivated, has strong time management skills, is conscientious, is willing to learn, and who is seeking a collaborative work environment.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Valid North Carolina bar license
• 3+ years’ construction litigation law practice experience
• Strong technological skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and practice management systems, portals and technologies
• Superior research skills, including the use of online services, databases and the Internet
• Superior organizational skills
• Project management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
