Distinguished, mid-sized NATIONAL insurance defense litigation firm is looking for experienced FLORIDA Construction Litigation attorneys with 2+ years construction experience to join their TAMPA team.

WE ALLOW HYBRID WORK-FROM-HOME (3 days per week "in office").

Should have substantial experience with FLORIDA Construction Defect and Accident cases. We handle the defense of GCs, subcontractors, developers, property owners and builders on construction sites throughout FL.  

***IDEAL Candidates have 2+ years experience in FL Construction Insurance Litigation***

DUTIES: reviewing and analyzing new files from assignment by the adjuster, preparing an initial status report summarizing liability / damages and exposure, drafting pleadings, motions, issuing written discovery, answering discovery, taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions, arguing motions, attending court hearings, mediations, trials,and regularly preparing comprehensive status reports to the clients. Should have experience with expert witness depositions and preparing for same.

BILLING: We have a far lower billable hour requirement than most insurance defense firms as our compensation is performance-driven. We only require 1,875 billable hours per year to earn your base salary (156 hours per month). We offer a tiered bonus system for hours beyond this threshold and pay out bonuses of anywhere between $1k to $3k each month based on billing tiers above and beyond 156 per month. Our bonus structure is much stronger than most other law firms in FL and our employees love earning more each month for billing above a billable hour requirement that's already far below most other firms.
