CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (Long-term contracts) – HIGH END FIT-OUT, BLUECHIP CLIENTS, LONDON\n\nOur client is a market leading brand that delivers exceptional interior design, fit out and refurbishment projects for some of the world’s most iconic institutions. As a FTSE 250 listed construction group with over £4 billion in revenue they boast some of the UK’s largest projects and in turn require the best teams to deliver.\n\nRole\n\nYou’ll be a key contributor to the site set up with support from the wider operational team. Building relationships is a key part of any role, but as a Construction Manager you will be able to develop relationships across the entire team, including clients, sub-contractors, and client teams.\n\nWith the role on offer you’ll help to Identify risks and opportunities by understanding the full scope of each work package.

You’ll need to be able to clearly define roles and responsibilities within your team and mobilise your sub-contractors through clear and effective communication. You will oversee Health & Safety in accordance with the company and project H&S plan. A primary task will be supporting the Project Manager by managing the complex and time constrained works, working with the design team by supporting design workshops.

You’ll need to demonstrate experience in managing multiple large packages of work along with detailed knowledge of construction methodology, process and inherent safety involved.\n\nRequirements\n\n * CSCS Black card\n\n * NVQ Level 6 or 7\n\n * SMSTS\n\n * First Aid\n\n * Asbestos Awareness\n\n * IOSH/NEBOSH desirable but not essential.\n\nPlease note these roles are paid PAYE as within the scope of IR35
