Job Summary
This position requires a hardworking and reliable Construction Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of each commercial real estate construction project and ensure they progress on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is an expert in building methods and has a proven track record of successful construction management projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Manage internal team and subs during Multi-family renovation and/or construction
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Recommend best practice
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Manage changes in the project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Organize meetings, create agenda, take minutes
- Creating PowerPoint presentations
- Perform administrative duties when necessary
- Cost collation for invoicing
- Keeping an update on compliance regulations
- Issues and problem management that may arise
- Excellent organizational skills

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is
- 5 years experience in performing/managing multi-family renovations/builds.
- Previous experience as a Project and/or Construction Manager
- Project management certification is
- Deep understanding of construction management methods and processes
- Advanced knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codes
- Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and construction management software
- Ability to break large projects into small steps
