Construction Operations Manager
*Site startup operations related to the security industry is required.
Salary Range
$90,000 - $95,000 yrly
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our leadership team as a Construction Operations Manager for the construction side of our datacenter physical security division. As a key executive, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site startup operations related to the security and efficiency of our datacenter facilities. This position will require 70% travel.
Qualifications:
The Construction Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and developing the security team. They will lead the security team through daily operations and all incident escalations. Collaborate with VP and Regional Directors to ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to datacenter physical security.
Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the operations of our datacenter physical security division, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Provide visionary leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with site management and vendors on site, to define and execute strategies for business growth and expansion within the datacenter physical security industry.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction startups and construction facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Manage a team of security officers and supervisors while maintaining high security standards.
Implement robust processes and procedures to optimize resource allocation, minimize downtime, and maximize operational uptime of our datacenter facilities.
Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team, encouraging creativity and collaboration to drive operational excellence.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the datacenter physical security industry, integrating new methodologies and tools to enhance operations.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Collaborate with VP to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within our datacenter facilities and develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with VP to conduct internal audit and compliance teams to conduct regular assessments and audits to monitor and maintain compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
Five (5) or more years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, with a focus on datacenter physical security or related industries; law enforcement and or military leadership experience accepted.
Strong understanding of construction startup operations, physical security systems, and industry standards/regulations.
Proven track record of leading successful operational initiatives, driving efficiency improvements, and achieving business objectives.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute plans to support company growth and expansion.
Special Skills and Attributes Include:
· Significant scheduling experience.
· Working knowledge of E-HUB and WINTEAM Software.
· Leadership qualities; people management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent presentation skills with proven ability to influence key business partners.
· Strong organization and planning skills.
· Proficient in the use of MS Office suite.
· Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Think through problems for logical solutions and remain calm and professional under stress.
