Construction Office Supervisor$20 – 25 per hour DOE

Full Time; Temp-To-Hire
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Office Supervisor to join our team. This role involves managing key administrative and technical tasks to support project success, including reading and interpreting construction plans and specification books, performing submittals, and conducting material take-offs. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, estimators, and field teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Daily Workflow:
» Analyze and interpret construction drawings and specification books to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines
» Prepare, submit, and track required project submittals to ensuring compliance with design specifications and timely approvals
» Calculate quantities and types of materials needed for projects based on blueprints and specifications
» Ensure all permits and regulatory requirements are obtained and adhered to throughout the project
» Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to clarify project details and address potential issues
» Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules, identifying potential delays, and providing recommendations to stay on track
» Verify that materials, processes, and workmanship meet the specified project standards, codes, and regulations
We’re Seeking (skills, education and screenings):
» Prior experience in construction or a related field is
» Strong understanding of construction plans, blueprints, and specification books
» Proven experience in managing submittals and performing accurate material take-offs
» Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and familiarity with construction management software
» Analyzing architectural and engineering blueprints to understand the scope of the project
» Calculating the amount of each material required (e.g., cubic yards of concrete, linear feet of lumber, square feet of drywall)
» Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
» Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
» Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
» Monday – Friday; 8 am - 4:00 pm
