Our kits are delivered to customers across the nation and built into homes, cabins, venues, barns, and more.

We have an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified Project Coordinator to join our team in Fremont, NE. We are seeking a candidate who is looking to make a long-term commitment and play an integral role in our company.

This individual must be a self-starter with strong communication skills resulting in the ability to build exceptional rapport with customers. The job will be performed out of our office in Fremont, NE with little to no on-site travel.

Job duties begin after the point of sale and include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaison between customer, architects, engineers, and internal CAD team as well as other internal departments to complete project drawings
  • Assist customers with floor plan designs and building layout development
  • Communicate with exceptional accuracy and extreme attention to detail
  • Conduct technical reviews of plans prior to sending to customers
  • Determine material needs for projects by conducting job take-offs
  • Communicate project requirements to production department
  • Critique and enhance current systems and processes to improve customer experiences
  • Provide customers and associated builders with kit construction support via phone and email

Required:

  • 5-8+ years’ experience in construction, construction project management, and/or design
  • Proven success in initiating, promoting, and maintaining strong client communications/relations
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • A degree in Construction Management, Architectural Construction Design, Engineering Design, or similar

The ideal candidate will have the following abilities:·

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to conceptualize building layouts and floor plans from a verbal discussion with clients
  • Willing to help in production environment if needed
  • Understand basics of heavy timber construction but not required
  • Work independently and/or as part of a team
  • Display a strong work ethic
  • Maintain a positive attitude with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic structural knowledge (to coordinate with engineer)
