Job Title: Construction Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget considerations.

2. Design Coordination: Work closely with design and architectural teams to ensure that construction plans align with project requirements and specifications.

3. Procurement: Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

4. Construction Oversight: Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is progressing according to the project schedule and quality standards.

5. Quality Control: Implement and manage quality control processes to ensure that construction work meets established standards and specifications.

6. Budget Management: Monitor project costs, track expenses, and make adjustments as necessary to stay within the allocated budget.

7. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols on the construction site, promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, change orders, and progress reports.

9. Communication: Facilitate communication between various project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and project managers.

10. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, collaborating with teams to find effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in construction project management or engineering.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of construction management software is a plus.
