Construction Project Engineer

Decorative Paving Company is an industry leader providing paving system and modular retaining wall installation services to our commercial customers in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the management of our construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned.

• Work directly with project manager to help implement project goals.
• Coordinate with project manager and other team members to maintain project schedule and efficiency.
• Assist in reviewing data to determine material and labor requirements.
• Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals.
• Control and manage project documentation, including submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Use specific software such as Microsoft Office, Planswift, Smartsheet and ComputerEase to manage projects.
• Assists in preparing project reports for management, client, or others.
• Coordinate and communicate with project team members, including contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in construction office environment.
• Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong math skills and a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with software programs such as Planswift, Smartsheet, and ComputerEase is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently.
