Job Summary:As a Construction Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the successful execution of complex construction initiatives, leveraging your expertise in construction engineering principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies- Coordinate and oversee the work of construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and budgetary requirements- Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and technical data to identify potential issues and develop solutions- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing any challenges or changes in a timely and effective manner- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and regulatory authorities, to ensure seamless project delivery- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Engineer or in a similar role- Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects- Proficient in the use of construction management software and project planning tools- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
Working Conditions:This position may require on-site work at construction sites, adherence to strict safety protocols, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project locations may also be required.
Compensation and Benefits:My Client offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 per year, and a comprehensive benefits program, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
