Construction Project Engineer:
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $85-95k., Depending on Experience
Location: Denver, CO 80216
Experience: 5+ years experience in the construction industry.

The Project Engineer works directly with one or more Project Managers on assigned tasks and maintains all administrative processes and procedures. The Project Engineer is able to assist in the performance of all Field responsibilities of the Project Manager.

Construction Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning of the construction project. Participate in the Master Planning Process as directed by Project Manager.
- Maintain thorough understanding of contract documents and subcontracts.
- Participate in project QA/QC.
- Assist with Major Buyout coordinating with the Project Manager.
- Prepare complete, accurate, and timely submittals and submittal logs for assigned projects.
- Generate Mechanical/Electrical Coordination matrix and flag discrepancies.
- Assist with the development of the project schedule and maintain all project logs.
- Draft commitment documents including, but not limited to Subcontract Agreements, Purchase Orders, Work Orders and Change Orders in Project Management software and company network per the Project manager direction.
- Update and distribute drawings and field binders.
- Assist with scheduling of all required construction meetings with required personnel, subcontractors, engineer and owners. Attend or conduct meetings as directed, taking accurate and complete meeting minutes.
- Prepare draft RFIs for review by the Project Manager.
- Input information into Project Management Software.
- Maintain relationship with customer (Owner, General Contractor, Engineer, Subcontractor, Supplier, Public Official, etc.) Attend and conduct meetings as directed by Project Manager.
- Perform site inspections for quality control, coordination, punch list, progress tracking, etc.
- Assist with the scheduling and management of start-up and commissioning and ensure the timely completion of all required project close-out documents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Construction Project Engineer Requirements:
- 5 + years of applicable experience in the construction industry.
- BA in Construction Management or equivalent combination of trade experience/ education.
- Consistently initiates, develops, and maintains professional relationships internally and externally.
- Consistently demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, patience, and mature professional judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented complexities.
- Consistently demonstrates professional in demeanor, expertise, attitude and character.
- Ability to effectively run meetings and develop meeting minutes.
- Ability to Interpret blueprint and specifications accurately.
