Job Title: Commercial Construction Project Manager – Atlanta, GA

Are you an experienced construction professional ready to lead high-profile commercial projects in Atlanta? Our client is an award-winning, regional general contracting firm that is seeking a seasoned Commercial Construction Project Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in new vertical construction, solid project management expertise, and a proven track record in managing ground-up commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects—from initial planning and scheduling through to budgeting, execution, and closeout.
• Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Team Coordination: Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, ensuring that work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
• Negotiation & Cost Control: Negotiate with contractors and vendors to secure cost-effective solutions while maintaining project integrity.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure projects are executed in accordance with original plans and specifications, upholding superior workmanship throughout the process.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years in the construction industry with at least 5 years as the Project Manager for new or ground-up commercial construction projects. Experience solely in single-family home construction will not be considered.
• Industry Expertise: A strong background in commercial construction, particularly within general contracting environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with construction management software and a solid understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and compliance.
• Leadership & Negotiation: Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-Oriented: A strong commitment to meeting deadlines and meticulous attention to project details.
