Construction Project Manager / Estimator

Responsibilities:

  • Complete accurate estimates of required labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors needed to complete the project
  • Ability to manage projects from start to completion 
  • Ability to read and evaluate architectural/MEP drawings and relevant contract documents
  • Must maintain open communication between, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Performs other duties as required
  • Review drawings and specifications to determine quantities and calculate pricing
  • Hiring, recruiting, managing, and maintaining subcontractor base across assigned projects
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interact and collaborate at all levels
  • Prepare project documents and schedules
  • Manage multiple projects and communicate consistently with all parties involved
  • Ensure all project activities are being completed promptly by using documentation tools.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Sales and negotiating skills
  • Energetic with a high sense of urgency
  • Experience with creating estimates and proposals
  • Detail oriented
  • Meeting critical project deadlines and progressing projects in a logical and cost-efficient manner
  • Negotiating change requests with architects, construction managers, and clients professionally to foster good-will with team members
  • Pre-construction Jobsite visits
  • Supervisory experience in the construction industry
  • Experience in the Construction industry: 2 years not required
  • A PA Drivers License
  • The ability to legally work in the United States

  • Drug testing
