Position Summary
The role of the Construction Quality Control Manager will be managing projects and lead team efforts for projects representing different clients (DEN, DOTI, Aurora, etc.). The Construction Quality Control Manager will report to the PM/CM Leader - Colorado. This position will help guide multiple projects throughout the Denver metro area. The Construction Quality Control Manager will bring direction, facilitation, subject matter expertise, proficiency with issue resolution, and a relationship-oriented approach to aid in the success of their projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of designers, consultants, and contractors for the Owner
- Daily and main point of contact for all on-site work
- Monitor schedule performance; review progress against the approved baseline and evaluation of monthly updates
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations such as Management Plan, Quality Control Plan, Safety Plan
- Oversee project quality management
- Assist with daily coordination between owner and contractor/designer
- Coordinate with contractors and AHJs to ensure inspections and final acceptance
- Review work-in-place to ensure compliance with technical requirements and operational and maintenance requirements.
- Review, investigate, and verify percent complete on monthly invoices and payment requests
- Assist owner with change order reviews for legitimacy and cost reasonableness
- Manage issue tracking and follow up until resolution
- Participate in constructability reviews and design coordination
- Monitor commissioning process
- Manage Project Closeout
- Attend all major client and project meetings
- Manage Contract document and administration (Contract changes, Bulletins, RFIs, etc.)
- Adhere to client-specific electronic filing and filing for archives
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience
- Professional Engineering License
- 10-14 years of Project/Construction Management experience
- Requires extensive knowledge of construction related processes, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry practices
- Ability to multitask or manage/support multiple projects simultaneously
- Extensive written and verbal communication, organizational, and planning skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and industry project software packages

This is a full-time position with a base salary that ranges between $95,000-120,000 per year. In addition to salary, you are eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, and PTO.
