Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is within the Government sector (USACE), and experience with civil engineering OR structural quality control is REQUIRED. As the Quality Control Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines. This is a permanent position that offers excellent growth opportunities and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any construction deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement corrective actions to resolve quality-related problems.
4. Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and clarity, and identify potential quality concerns.
5. Monitor and document construction progress, including the review of daily reports, test results, and other relevant documentation.
6. Conduct pre-construction meetings to discuss quality control requirements and expectations with contractors and subcontractors.
7. Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality control activities, including inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
9. Collaborate with government agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits.
10. Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices related to construction quality control.
