Seeking an experienced safety coordinator for a commercial roofing and siding company based in Chantilly, VA.

Job Duties:
· Plan, implement, communicate, and monitors safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, federal OSHA rules and regulations.
· Investigates all accidents and injuries; recommends and/or coordinates corrective actions.
· Develop and implement safety training programs designed to instruct employees in general safe work practices.
· Identifies potential safety hazards at all job sites, reports hazards and provides recommendations to reduce/eliminate hazards.
· Regularly perform jobsite inspections to make sure that no unsafe conditions arise.
· Conduct safety audits and inspections each day to ensure that personnel, equipment, and materials are in compliance with safety regulations.
· Training personnel on safety procedures and conducting safety training programs.
· Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per company policy and procedures, and provide regular updates to management.
· Maintain all safety-related documentation and records, and work cohesively with the client and their construction management team on site.

Education and Experience:
· Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
· Minimum 5 years experience.
·Working knowledge of OSHA-CFR 1926 “Construction Safety and Health”.

Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Ability to travel within 120 miles
· Strong communications skills
· Must be a legal of the U.S.
