Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Maintain a safe work environment while possessing the competency and training to lead jobsite safety meetings
• Advises senior management of potential problems or difficulties while assisting in resolving such conflicts
• Work closely with the Project Manager on all aspects of the project

Qualifications:

• Ten years experience in construction management or other related fields with a knowledge of minor concrete construction
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry including construction plans, specifications, and procedures as well as experience on Caltrans projects
• Knowledge and experience with scheduling software and creating and monitoring a project schedule's critical path
• Ability to forecast and procure the necessary materials and equipment to ensure the job's success
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
