Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities:
· Daily management, leadership, and oversight of construction project
· Scheduling Subcontractor start dates
· Proactive planning and communication with Subcontractors
· Host weekly schedule review meetings with Subcontractors.
· Produce and implement three-week look ahead schedules.
· Inspects in-place work to insure conformance with approved plans and specifications.
· Communicates issues to Project Manager and Design Teams to initiate plan revision requirements.
· Leads, manages, and oversees the project in the field for overall quality control, site safety, and schedule production and adherence.
· Produce and issue daily and weekly field reports and work completed reports.
· Acts as main point of contact for local inspections and coordinates compliance, punch list, and solutions to issues that arise throughout the work.
· Document and communicate any scheduling delays, schedule impacts, document / contract non- conformance, and initiate recovery plans in the event of such issues
· Address any issues and problems that arise during construction with timely and cost effective solutions.
· Budget management of General Conditions, General Requirements, contingency, and Subcontractors.
· Collaborate with the Project Manager on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent, or in a similar supervisory role on construction projects
· Strong leadership and problem solving skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
· Detail oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
· Proficient with Scheduling Software
· Knowledgeable in Construction sequencing, flow, and scheduling
· Ability to read and understand Construction and Contract Documents
· Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
