Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent - Large Public Works Projects

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team and lead large public works projects in the Las Vegas area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing and overseeing complex construction projects, with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise on-site construction activities for large public works projects.
• Ensure project objectives, schedules, and budgets are met. Work with project management to establish and maintain master schedule and site logistics plan.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Oversee and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Drive project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions in collaboration with project managers.
• Maintain accurate daily project documentation and reports.
• Coordinate inspections and permits as required by local authorities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
· Conduct weekly foreman’s meetings with all subcontractors.
· Conduct pre-construction, construction, and punch/close-out meetings with owners and design teams in collaboration with project managers.
Qualifications:
• Senior Superintendent 5+ years experience in commercial construction. Assistant Superintendent 1+ years Construction experience.
• Proven experience as a construction superintendent on large public works projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction best practices, methods, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certified
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
