Construction Surveyor

My client works nationwide doing full service refurbishments creating excellent work spaces. This is a full-time hybrid role for a Construction Surveyor located in Milton Keynes or Bristol willing to travel around UK depending on where the jobs are. As a Construction Surveyor you will be responsible for conducting surveys, project planning and design review, regulatory compliance and quality control.



Main Duties and Responsibilities:



- Conduct thorough surveys and assessments of existing buildings slated for refurbishment

- Work alongside architects, engineers and design teams to ensure the project meets plans and specifications.

- Oversee contract management activities, including the procurement of materials and subcontractors.

- Conduct regular inspections to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.



Qualifications and Skills:



- Building Surveying and condition surveys skills

- Experience in conducting feasibility studies and design review

- Knowledge of dilapidations assessments

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Knowledge of building regulations and the building safety act / regulator

- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related field

- Experience in the construction industry
