What You’ll DoLead & drive technology design, implementation, execution, and/or optimization for projects/accounts to accelerate customer outcomes.Provide/assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance for Cisco technologies.Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design.Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate issues.Build and deliver customer collateral, portals, documentation, and knowledge transfer.Drive customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services.Align with and support company policies and processes and apply relevant tools to efficiently complete the role and support Professional Services’ strategies and goals.Play the role of an individual contributor.Decision Making / ImpactDecisions impact the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related, including multi-functional teams.Ability to understand and communicate project scope and map it to customer business goals and objectives.Role and specific responsibilitiesAssociate with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. Cisco account teams, partners) on the strategy/deployment/optimization of Cisco services and solutions.Takes ownership of task/project implementation for assigned engagements.Implement new techniques and methodologies applied in customer delivery and share lessons learned with the broader team.Builds and reviews project work e.g. Design recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation/ Change Management Plans.Builds and/or use test environments as the need arises to resolve sophisticated problems & compatibility issues.Demonstrates software skills and tools to configure, deploy and/or tackle Cisco products and solutions.Gives in the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g. scripts, digital signatures).Acts as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements. Advanced degree strongly preferred.Knowledge of software programmability, automation, orchestration, and/or virtualization is desired.Experienced in customer-facing roles including pre-sales and/or service delivery roles.Data Centre related certification (CCIE, CCNP VCP, etc.) and you have a drive for continuous learning.Deep knowledge o nL2 / L3 networking protocols and technologies (VPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).Strong Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K platform knowledge and hands on experience.Experience in designing Data Center solutions from traditional DC standalone Nexus design to VXLAN Fabric-based SDN solutions demonstrating Single-Site Fabrics, ACI MultiPod & Multisite Fabric architectures.Familiar with virtualization and container environments (VMware, Microsoft, Kubernetes) and have technical exposure in integrating ACI with virtualization platforms through VMM integration.Technical understanding and experience on DC solutions involving network services appliances (Firewalls, IPS, load balancers, WAN optimizer appliances) from a network integration perspective.Technical knowledge and understandings of cloud computing involving multiple cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Google.Knowledge on Python, Ansible etcLeadership / AutonomyReceives limited supervision. Resolves methods and procedures on new assignments. Provides guidance and mentoring to other engineers. Translates worldwide team goals into own work assignments.Mentor and develop others. Involved in strategic projects with high transparency. The emphasis is on complexity, active participant/initiator, and leader.
