Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally within the heavy industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical, or related sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation to execution, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards, and fostering strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure they align with project objectives and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project teams to secure favourable terms and mitigate risks.
• Manage the execution, administration, and close-out of contracts, ensuring all parties meet their obligations.
• Maintain accurate records of all contract-related documents and correspondence.
• Identify potential risks within contracts and develop strategies to minimize exposure.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and contractual terms.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, providing clear and timely communication to internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate contract review meetings and ensure all parties are informed of contract status and obligations.
• Handle contract disputes or claims, working towards amicable resolutions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior management when necessary.
• Evaluate and improve contract management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in contract management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field.
• 5+ years in contract management, ideally within heavy industrial, pharmaceutical, or chemical sectors.
• Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Icertis).
• CCM (Certified Contract Manager) or equivalent preferred.
