Job Title – Contract Performance Manager
Location – Birmingham, England
Contract – FTC 12 month
Hours – 37.5 hours per week
Pay rate – From £48,000 per annum
We at Vox Consultants are recruiting for a client based in the Birmingham area.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contract / and commercial management
- Participate in mobilisation of ENGIE as the Hard FM service provider effective from 2021
- Maintain an appropriate contract management methodology and risk register for all service providers including Landlord Provided Services such as NHSPS
- Maintain an appropriate performance monitoring and audit system for all service providers
- Ensure that service standards are provided and maintained and have day to day links with service providers and operational leaders of clinical services in the Trust
- Monitor ongoing performance and service delivery for all service providers
- Recommend and agree monthly payments/deductions to the service providers
- Ensure Best Value is obtained
- Provide accurate financial monitoring and effective change control processes in line with the contract operating manual
- Review key trends in the service delivery and service provider’s performance to inform improvement opportunities
- Ensure remedial measures for improving service delivery are implemented when required, and monitor the service providers approach to rectifying non-compliance
- Manage implementation of changes in legislation within the contract
- Support the Contract Manager in managing variations, benchmarking, market testing and change
- Monitor and demonstrate effective risk management through contract and Trust Governance structures
- With the Contract Manager, deal with disputes and default
- Ensure the contract remains up to date with changes and variations agreed
- Provide quality assurance through use of ISO standards, Premises Assurance Model, ERIC returns and Risk Registers;
- Participate in business planning with the service provider, looking for opportunities to enhance delivery and improve value for money
- Review service specifications on a periodic basis
- Ensure robust business continuity planning and response within the contracted services;
Human Resources Management
- Responsible for ensuring that the recruitment, retention, motivation and development and engagement of staff within portfolio.
- Participate in the contract management team skills development and succession planning.
- Responsible for ensuring that all employment practices within Contract Services comply with the Trust’s Human Resources policies, procedures, processes, and best practice.
- Responsible for ensuring communication systems are in place for the induction, management, and development of staff within the function.
- Responsible for ensuring that Personal Development Reviews (PDRs) are conducted for all staff and that Personal Development Plans are in place.
- Support that staff are highly motivated and positively involved in the delivery of service objectives.
- Responsible for ensuring proper arrangements are in place within areas of defined responsibility to maintain the Health & Safety of staff, patients and others and the safety and security of equipment and premises and make certain that these arrangements are working correctly.
The Successful Candidate:
- Complete DBS if required.
- Be able to provide 3 years worth of referencing
