Contract Welder Fabricator

Welder / Fabricator – Avonmouth - Contractor



 Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Welder with expertise in ARC Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding to join their team in Avonmouth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with various materials, including aluminum and stainless steel, and experience in ship repair or related industries.



Compensation Package



£15-£20 per hour

Outside IR35Welder / Fabricator Responsibilities



Perform ARC Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding tasks with precision and efficiency.

Work with a variety of materials, including aluminum and stainless steel, to meet project requirements.

Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to execute welding projects accurately.

Adhere to safety procedures and regulations related to welding and the marine industry.

Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project goals are met.

Maintain and inspect welding equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in welding techniques.

Obtain and maintain relevant certifications from welding-related professional organizations.Welder / Fabricator Requirements



Proven experience in ARC Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding.

Previous experience in ship repair or related industries is .

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in welding and marine industries.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Certification from welding-related professional organizations is beneficial.

Experience working with steel and aluminum.

Some weekend work required.

Marine experience.
