Job Description
A Regional building contractor based in Greater Manchester are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their experienced team. The company undertake new build and refurbishment projects predominantly within the Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors up to £10m. A large amount of their projects are delivered via partnering and framework agreements and they have gained an excellent reputation for delivering high quality construction projects throughout the North West.\n\nThe Contracts Manager will have overall responsibility for multiple construction projects from £2m to £10m.
You will manage the construction teams in delivering a consistent service to time, safety, quality, cost and ensuring the client's expectations are met in full and contract performance targets realised.\n\nDuties will include:\n\nManaging project teams to ensure successful completion of projects\nEnsure all works are carried out in accordance with the required standards and the Company's policies and procedures\nLiaising with clients, suppliers and project management teams\nWorking with the commercial team to ensure project financial targets are met\nAttend client meetings and regularly liaise with clients to ensure expectations are met\nResponsible for health, safety and environmental standards being implemented and maintained\nDevelopment and training of staffTo be considered for the above role as Contracts Manager, applicants must have the following:\n\nPrevious Contracts Management experience working for Main Contractors\nDetailed knowledge of construction methods and technology\nCommercially astute with experience in managing multiple projects concurrently\nStrong people management skills\nStrong commercial acumen\nAbility to plan and programme construction projects\nGood communication skills both written and verbal\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft ProjectsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a long -established business that has a strong order book of work secured.
