Contracts Manager - Residential Main Contractor
Job Description
Salter Grange are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to join a forward-thinking construction company who operate across the UK for both public and private sectors - specializing in various sectors like housing, hotels, and educational institutions. This role will be Based in London, this role will see you managing high-value projects ranging from £20M – £80M.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of multiple construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and timely project execution.
- Serve as the key interface between clients, subcontractors, and site teams, fostering positive relationships.
- Oversee all site operations, ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide direction to subcontractors, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and projects remain on schedule.
- Maintain all required site documentation and paperwork, ensuring audit compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the project Surveyor to consider commercial implications and make informed decisions.
- Manage internal and external design teams to ensure all materials, resources, and plans align with project deadlines.
- Keep the Operations Manager updated on project progress, addressing any financial, scheduling, or specification risks.
- Champion the use of sustainable practices throughout project planning and delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Required certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Scaffold Inspection.
