This critical role involves managing project delivery from start to finish, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

You'll work closely with the senior leadership team and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOversee and manage multiple refurbishment and roofing projects concurrently\n\nRecruit, lead, and coordinate subcontractors and on-site teams\n\nConduct detailed site surveys and prepare accurate measurements\n\nProduce and manage comprehensive Risk and Method Statements\n\nEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety and CDM Regulations\n\nDevelop and maintain programmes of work, ensuring efficient scheduling\n\nLiaise with estimating teams during project handovers\n\nAccurately manage project costs, labour, materials, and timelines\n\nOversee procurement of materials, plant, and specialist services\n\nEnsure all deliveries and works are completed on time and to spec\n\nUphold strict quality standards across all service areas\n\nRegularly attend and lead site meetings with clients, architects, surveyors, and other stakeholders\n\nIdentify and engage best-value suppliers and subcontractors\n\nMaintain up-to-date site qualifications (CSCS, SMSTS, etc.)\n\nDrive innovation and improvements within the Contracts Department in line with business growth strategy\n\nIdeal Candidate:\n\nStrong experience in a Contracts Manager role within industrial/commercial roofing or refurbishment\n\nExpertise in roofing systems such as metal cladding, composite, and single-ply, with asbestos awareness\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)\n\nExcellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills\n\nResults-driven, commercially aware, and capable of managing multiple priorities\n\nWhy Apply Through ARC?\n At ARC, we specialise in matching skilled professionals with exceptional opportunities.
