Contracts Manager - Roofing and cladding



Up to £60,000 plus package



Manchester



The C/M will run a team of 4 PM’S and 4 Site Supervisors and around 30 labour only subcontractors, currently they have around 10 live sites on all at different stages and size. They will be responsible for running all projects and will report to the head of operations.



Contract manager (pre construction) duties:



1. Contract manager is briefed on all projects that they are overseeing and are responsible to record and report project performance to the head of operations.



2. Contract manager complies the health and safety file in the project management folder ready to start on site (Dropbox)



3. Contract manager attends site pre start meeting, with estimators, design team and commercial.



4. Contract manager submits draft RAMS to head of operations for approval and then issued to the client. (RAMS APP)



5. Contract manager ensures that site set up is completed, all delivery programs ready and orders placed ready for delivery to site.



Contract manager (construction) duties:



1. Co-ordinates project managers of all sites and attends site pre start and progress meetings, design meetings and provides a weekly report on site progress for all sites.



2. Manages and reports project program performance to head of operations highlighting site issues with delays, workforce, deliveries / materials and quality on all projects.



3. Manages and records non contracted variation work, site delays, design variations and informs head of operations and commercial of the changes



4. Assesses subcontractor price work /day work invoices received from the PM to ensure invoiced work is correct and issue to commercial for budget review and sign off.



5. Manages and maintains labour requirements for all projects and highlights potential issues to the head of operations.



6. Completes quality QA check sheets



7. Ensure that weekly returns are being completed and all documents / non-conformance tasks are closed out with PM’s
