Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice, recommendations, and document support to multiple disciplined offices in all areas of lifecycle acquisition, primarily focused on acquisition post-award support.  

  • Acquisition post-award support includes: Contract Administration, Contract Modification Support, Delivery/Task Order Support, financial tracking, attending Program Management Reviews/Business Management Reviews, providing analysis of progress, and Award management

  • Understand the purpose and content of acquisition deliverables, to include Statements of Work (SOW), Cost Estimates, Market Research, Quality Assurance Plans, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and other miscellaneous pre-award documentation

  • Provide contractual domain expertise in implementation, execution, and administration for all aspects of contract management

  • Correspond with Government and developers regarding contract status, requests for additional information, etc.

  • May prepare complex requests for proposals

  • May mentor and train less experienced professionals

Work Environment:

Seeking an Acquisition Contracts Specialist to support acquisitions, contracts, and related business processes throughout all stages of the contract management life cycle. The right candidate will be able to work independently and function effectively as part of a team and interact with people from junior to senior-most levels. This individual should have experience meeting deadlines and prioritizing contracts related items across large organizations.

  • Location: On-site

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%

  • Working Hours: Standard/Flexible

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • 5 years of related work experience

  • Experience with Government acquisition initiatives

  • Experience with post-acquisition support (i.e. contract modification, financial tracking, attending milestone events, providing analysis of progress, award management)

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Demonstrated attention to detail
